The Ministry of Health issues a public appeal for health-promoting schools, "Choosing Healthy", for the 2023/4 school year, in association with the Ministry of Health's national program Efsharibari that promotes the integration of an active and healthy lifestyle into the school culture.

School principals are invited to fill out the public appeal form to have their school recognized as a health-promoting school. The program for the promotion of health in schools is an up-to-date, experience-based and applicable program that benefits the general well-being of the entire school community and improves the quality of life.

The process of recognition as a health-promoting school
The following actions apply to schools already recognized as health-promoting, schools that wish to maintain that status and schools that join the program for the first time:
- Fill out the online form (HE) published in the education establishments' portal to document the school's health-promoting activities and have the principal declare the implementation of these activities.
The form will be available from April 16 2023 to June 11 2023. The online form is to be filled out by the principal of the educational establishment or by another on their behalf. - Document the school's health-promoting activities and attach the documentation to the online form.
- Receive an official recognition as a health-promoting school in accordance with the "Choosing Healthy" program, by the District Health Referent.
